Nikon F

This past Christmas, my wife, once again, showed her incredible aptitude for gift giving. She presented me with a number of boxes. Each box contained a different piece of the gift. After they were all open and assembled, the object took the shape of a refurbished Nikon F! I was so excited! This was the camera that became the foundation for all Nikon SLR’s to follow. It was first manufactured in the late 50’s and went on document the 1960’s as one of the most beloved professional grade cameras of its time. This was the camera that documented Vietnam (where it saved the life of a photographer by stopping a bullet) and the Apollo missions, and now will continue on to document the decades to come 🙂 Here are a few samples from my first role!
